SAYON ELMARA

Hi, I’m Sayon Elmara, from Guinea (West Africa).
I’ve been dancing for 5 years, and for me dance is a natural, almost instinctive way to express myself.

I’m an Afro-modern dance teacher at The Hive Cluj in Cluj-Napoca, where I share my passion through classes open to all levels. My goal is to help dancers develop confidence, freedom, and authentic expression while improving musicality and body control.

People come to my classes to feel the music, let go, and dance without judgment. My teaching style focuses on energy, connection, and enjoying the moment—because for me, dance is about emotional release, not perfection. 

Fun facts:
* I like to turn a simple warm-up into a full choreography because the group’s energy is amazing. 
* I got hit by a bicycle… yes, a bicycle. 
* And I love eating avocado with sugar and milk.
